Frauke Aulbert is coloratura soprano with
a vast vocal range of almost four octaves. She studied at the university of
Kiel, Germany, the Conservatorio Superior de Musica in Santa Cruz de
Tenerife, Spain and completed her
formation in 2009 with the Diplom (master) of the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg, Germany. She attended
masterclasses with the vocal-performers Lauren Newton, Sainkho Namchylak, David
Moss, Donatienne Michel-Dansac and Michael Vetter among others.
Improvisation
and (first) performances of pieces which were frequently written especially for
her led her to festivals e.g. in Heidelberg,
Hamburg, Berlin, Rotterdam and Avignon. Until 2005 she has been
member of the opera-choir of Tenerife, Spain.
In 2009 she was
awarded the first price by the Stockhausen-foundation for her interpretation of
the INDIANERLIEDER.
For 2012 she will reside one month in Rome through an invitation by the Goethe-Institute and further receives a grant by the culture secretary of the Federal Republic of Germany which offers her a residence in the Cité des Arts in Paris for six month.
Frauke Aulbert
is specializing in contemporary music and combines improvisation of voice with
body-movement. Beside the formation in lyrical singing she focuses amplified
techniques like overtone- and undertone-singing, muliphonics a.s.o., to grasp
the soundwise capabilities of her voice and exceed egdes.

she wrote about ‘Overtone Singing in Contemporary Music’.

La chanteuse Frauke Aulbert dispose d’une amplitude vocale
extraordinaire de presque quatre octaves. Elle a étudié en Allemagne à l’Université de Kiel ainsi qu’au Conservatoire Supérieur de Musique à Santa
Cruz de Tenerife en Espagne, et a ensuite obtenu en 2009 son diplôme à la Hochschule für Musik und Theater d’Hamburg
en Allemagne. De plus, elle a suivi des Master classes avec entre autres :
Lauren Newton, Sainkho Namchylak, David Moss, Michael Vetter et Donatienne
Michel-Dansac.
En 2012 Frauke Aulbert sera en résidence pendant un mois à Rome à l’Institute Goethe. Cette même année
elle sera six mois l’invitée du ministére de la culture de la fédération
allemande à Paris à la Cité des Arts.
Improvisations et créations - d’oeuvres qui ont été composé de
nombreux fois pour sa voix et sa personnalité musicale - ont amené Frauke
Aulbert à participer à des festivals tel que : Berlin, Heidelberg, Hambourg,
Rotterdam, Avignon, Paris et bien d’autres encore...
Pour l’interprétation des INDIANERLIEDER (chants indiens) la Fondation Stockhausen lui a décerné le
premier prix en 2009.
Frauke Aulbert se spécialise dans la musique contemporaine. A côté du
chant lyrique elle travaille des techniques expérimentales comme le chant
harmonique ou sons multiphoniques, sonde les possibilités sonores de sa voix et
cherche constamment à dépasser ses limites vocales.
Sa thése de Diplom de fin
d’études superieures, „Le chant harmonique das la musique contemporaine“, est
representative de sa recherche en génerale.
Frauke Aulbert è un soprano che canta in un ambito vocale di quasi quattro ottave. Ha studiato all'Università di Kiel (Germania), al Conservatorio Superior de Musica in Santa Cruz de Tenerife (Spagna) e ha completato la sua formazione nel 2009 con il Master alla Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg (Germania). Ha frequentato Masterclasses con Lauren Newton, Sainkho Namchylak, David Moss, Donatienne Michel-Dansac, Michael Vetter e molti altri.
Ha fatto parte fino al 2005 del coro dell'Opera di Tenerife (Spagna) e successivamente si è esibita in molti Festival musicali internazionali (Heidelberg, Hamburg, Berlin, Rotterdam, Avignon, ecc) interpretando frequentemente anche composizioni nuove scritte espressamente per lei.
Nel 2009 ha vinto il primo premio della Fondazione Stockhausen per la sua interpretazione della composizione INDIANERLIEDER.
Nel 2012 sarà ospitata per un mese dal Goethe Institut di Roma e si trasferirà successivamente, grazie ad una borsa di studio del Segretariato Culturale della Repubblica Federale di Germania, a Parigi per una residenza di sei mesi alla Cité des Arts.
Frauke Aulbert è specializzata nell'interpretazione della musica contemporanea e combina l'improvvisazione vocale con i movimenti corporei. Oltre alla sua formazione nel canto lirico ha studiato le tecnoche vocali estese come il canto degli armonici superiori ed inferiori.
Ha scritto la sua tesi di laurea su "Il canto degli armonici nella musica contemporanea".
