Physical Listening Club is a collaborative music and performance project by Frauke Aulbert and Hanna Eimermacher. In an experimental live installation, they combine beat-based electronic music, voice, a loop station, the instrument Zeraphone developed by Eimermacher, as well as light and choreography to create an intensely physical listening experience.

At the center of the project is the development of an experimental sound practice in which rhythm, repetition, and physical presence are used as compositional tools. The performance explores listening as an active, embodied process and deliberately shifts the boundaries of traditional concert formats between contemporary music, performance, and club aesthetics.

The project will be developed throughout 2026 in several working phases and will premiere in June 2026 at the AvantGarde Festival. Further performances are planned for stages, clubs, and interdisciplinary contexts.
